The enterprise workspace is evolving to encompass more device types, apps, services, and delivery models. Many organizations are starting down the path of unified endpoint management — consolidating mobile and PC device and app management and security into a single platform. However, configuration and security capabilities must also touch new types of connected endpoints wearable technology (smart glasses, watches, and activity bands); conference room collaboration, screen sharing, and content creation/collaboration technology (i.e., smartboards); and corporateowned/single-use (COSU) mobile devices deployed in fixed roles.
